To Bring or Not To Bring:

Bring: Bible, bedding, pillow, towels, washcloths, soap, toothbrush, deodorant, comb, etc. Bring extra changes of clothes, a big appetite, lots of energy, and a good spiritual attitude. You may bring a digital camera.

Not to Bring:  Cell Phones, iPods, mp3 players, video games, or other similar devices will not be allowed during the week of camp. (Digital cameras are allowed) Campers will be able to use their counselor’s phone at any time.

Camp Standard:

The goal of our camp is to honor the Lord. Our camp standards are based upon Biblical principles for modesty. We do not believe that just having outward standards will produce a spiritual heart, but they are very important. We want to be the best we can be for God.

Everyone following the camp standards helps to promote an atmosphere of holiness and modesty that pleases the Lord and encourages spiritual growth.

Thank you for your spirit and cooperation in this matter.

MEN

Bring long pants, knee length shorts, and t-shirts for during the day. No tank tops or sleeveless shirts. Clothes for evening services are casual (nice t-shirts, polo shirts and long pants). No earrings, necklaces, or bracelets. Modest masculine Christian clothing only.

David was a young man who was “…of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to…” (1 Samuel 16:12) Your countenance is the look that you have on your face. At camp, we want young men to be like David. Bold, courageous for God and someone that has such a great spirit and attitude that it shows on your face. Come to camp “looking good” and ready to hear the voice of God in your heart!

WOMEN

All clothing is to be modest and loose fitting. Please wear skirts or culottes that extend to the bottom of the knee. Short or tight skirts are not allowed. No pants or sleeveless tops are to be worn. Your culottes should look similar to a skirt. Shorts, Baggy shorts, basketball shorts, and board shorts are not allowed except in the pool area. Most activities can be done in skirts.  Modest feminine Christian clothing only.

Shorts may not be worn away from the pool area. Bring a cover-up or change of clothes for when you leave the pool area. At the lake area, you may wear culottes and a dark T-shirt, no shorts.  For evening services, neat casual clothing is fine.

10 Acre Lake:

Tubing, pulled by a speed boat will be running at designated times. Canoes and kayaks will be available to use throughout camp.  The lake includes a blob and iceberg water slide. Fishing is also available if you bring your own equipment.

Soccer / Football Field:

We have a full size soccer field for cabin competitions.  Each year we have a campers. counselor soccer and flag football game for senior high boys.

Obstacle Course:

Test your limits during cabin competitions on the obstacle course.  There are plenty of challenging obstacles to work on your team building skills.

Accomodations:

The guys are split up between the gym dorms and the A-frames.  The girls get spread out through wilderness, woodside, and colonial dorms.

Outdoor Games:

The outdoor court consists of 9-square, human foosball, gaga ball, and more.

Zipline:

Travel across our ten-acre lake from a forty-foot tower. (170 lb. weight limit)

Gymnasium:

We have a large gymnasium with six basketball hoops.  Join in on some fun pick-up games. Each year we have a camper vs. counselor basketball game for the junior and senior boys.

Snack Shop:

Bring some extra spending money to buy snacks and drinks throughout your stay.  Study to quiz out in the Bible Competitions for free snacks!

Volleyball

We have a large deck volleyball court and a sand volleyball pit.

Game Room:

Play and compete in the game room.  The room is filled with ping pong, carpet ball, and labyrinth tables.  It is a great place to hang and fellowship.
